Book Week

It has been Book Week at our school this week. Room 6 had a PJ party and read their favourite books from when they were young. Tomorrow we are having a book character dress up day. It should be cool.

Compost

We have been looking at waste management in our class this term and we have made our own mini composts. We had to cut up an old 2 litre milk bottle then fill it with layers of compost and worms, carbon (like twigs/old leaves), nitrate(fruit/veges/teabags), carbon, nitrate, activator, carbon and water.

It was heaps of fun. Thanks to Mr Taylor who came in to help us.
