The Bush Walk

Our main focus is native birds of New Zealand. When our class went on the bushwalk we saw beautiful birds, plants and a stream. On the bushwalk we heard all different types of birds like the Fantail, the Tui and many others. The Fantail came fluttering past like a beautiful, little butterfly. We also saw a Bell-Bird land on a fern frond beside us. It had beautiful colours all over it. The Tui that was up in the branch above us had a black beak, white wavy feathers on the back of the neck, white tufts and head and the rest of the body was dark blue-green. The fantail is a little bird. They follow you if you are on a bushwalk because when you move the branches the bugs fall off. The the fantail comes and eats them off the ground. It was the best walk ever.
